Larry Daniel began performing computer forensics in 2001 and has accumulated over 15,000 hours of experience working in the field of digital forensics. Larry also holds numerous certifications in computer, cell phone and GPS forensics including the Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE), Digital Forensics Certified Practitioner (DFCP), Blackthorn 2 Certified Examiner (BCE), the Access Data Mobile Examiner (AME), Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) , Certified Wireless Analysis (CWA) and Certified Telecommunications Analyst (CTA).
Mr. Daniel has provided computer and cellular phone and cellular tower technology in hundreds of criminal and civil cases. Additionally, he has qualified and testified as a computer forensic expert, a cellular phone forensics expert, a GPS forensics expert and a cellular technology expert over 50 times in state and federal courts.
Larry has provided training via presentations and continuing legal education over 75 times for attorneys, prosecutors, judges, and law enforcement, as well as presenting at such conferences as the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Conference, the Computer Enterprise and Investigations Conference, the American College of Forensic Examiners and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is co-author of the book, “Digital Forensics for Legal Professionals, Understanding digital evidence from the warrant to the courtroom” 2011, Syngress. Larry’s latest book, “Cell Phone Location Evidence for Legal Professionals, Understanding Cell Phone Location Evidence From the Warrant to the Courtroom”, Academic Press, will be available in June 2017.

Lars Daniel is an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), AccessData Mobile Examiner (AME), Summation Certified End User (SCE), Summation Certified Case Manager, (SCCM), Summation Certified Administrator (SCA) and a Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS).
Lars is the co-author of the book Digital Forensics for Legal Professionals: Understanding Digital Evidence from the Warrant to the Courtroom.
Mr.Daniel has provided training in digital forensics to other experts and has taught continuing legal education (CLE) classes throughout the United States. He has also presented twice at the CEIC (Computer Enterprise Investigations Conference) in the years 2011 and 2013.
Lars has qualified over twenty times as an expert in state and federal court. He has qualified as a computer forensics expert, a cell phone forensics expert, a digital forensics expert, a photo forensics expert, and as a video forensics expert.
Lars has attended over 250 hours of forensic training and has worked on over 500 cases involving murder, child pornography, terrorism, rape, kidnapping, intellectual property, fraud, wrongful death, employee wrongdoing and large scale e-discovery collections, among other case types.
Mathew Scott investigates and manages projects related to cyber incidents, computer forensics, and failure analysis of computer software. With nearly 20 years of experience, Matt is highly proficient in the implementation of various computer forensic tools and data recovery. Considered a subject matter expert, he provides consulting expertise to the insurance, legal, law enforcement, private corporations, and public communities in matters of computer forensics.Matt investigates events such as computer related crimes and/or financial theft. In addition, Matt has a vast experience with determining the origin and cause of failures related to servers and IT appliances, manufacturing machine design, setup, controls, and implementation, including automation and computer numeric controllers (CNC). He is highly proficient in multiple programming languages.
