Guardian Digital Forensics was founded in 2001 by Larry Daniel, who saw an opportunity for providing forensic data recovery during a time when the internet became more mature, and technology that we take for granted today, such as computers and mobile phones, became increasingly available.
Since then, Guardian Digital Forensics has built a reputation for providing industry- leading digital forensics services around the world. From our first criminal and civil litigation matters worked over 15 years ago, to the many complex, catastrophic and high profile cases we work on today, our mission has always been to provide the highest level of technical expertise, while also providing education to legal and insurance professionals on digital forensics so that cases can be handled ethically and effectively.
As independent forensic experts we work hard for whoever uses our services: defense or plaintiff attorneys, corporations, law enforcement, prosecutors, municipalities or insurance companies. At Guardian Digital Forensics we believe that one of the most important services we can provide is the education of public defenders, private attorneys, investigators, judges, prosecutors, and those in the legal system that use and are impacted by the field of digital forensics. For that reason, we provide complimentary, industry-recognized continuing legal education content taught by our own certified examiners to dozens of conferences and bar association meetings every year.
With our deep expertise in handling hundreds of complex civil, criminal and cyber loss cases involving computers, cell phones, GPS devices, call detail records analysis, cell phone location evidence, and other electronic storage media, we provide clients with the certified and court tested forensic examinations for virtually any type of legal action, insurance event or digital forensic investigation.
