How many hours will it take to do my case? It depends on the amount and type of data to be analyzed and the complexity of the forensic work.  Some typical case hour amounts: • Domestic Cases:  Normally these cases take from 10 to 25 hours of work.  Complex cases can require more hours. • Homicides and Capital Murder: 15 to 80 hours depending on the complexity of the case. • Child Pornography: These are special cases that must adhere to the Adam Walsh act.  Typically these cases take from 25 to 50 hours. • Cell Phone Case:  When we can use our forensic software in our lab - 2 to 5 hours including the report.  When we have to do it manually: 4 to 10 hours.  Manual examination of a cell phone requires a lot of examiner time to complete in a forensically sound manner. • Rape, Kidnapping, Fraud and other crimes:  15 to 40 hours is typical in these types of cases. • Intellectual Property:  It varies greatly depending on the circumstances of the case. • Civil Cases: It varies greatly depending on the circumstances of the case: 15 to 40+ hours. Do you take Child Porn, Internet Predator and other sex crime cases? Yes we do.  We believe that all persons should have an adequate defense, independent of the charges against them. Do you work for Law Enforcement Agencies? We have provided free forensic services to various law enforcement agencies in a limited number of cases.  We also actively participate in assisting with search and rescue operations at the request of law enforcement agencies to assist in locating endangered missing persons.
